Giraffe Centre and Sanctuary
A visit to the Giraffe Centre means you get to meet the giraffe in person and feed them pellets. The giraffe love these tasty treats and make a trip from the forest and savannah in the sanctuary to the raised platform of the giraffe centre just to eat them. Hold a pellet between your teeth and you too could get a kiss from a giraffe.
Humour aside the work done by the giraffe centre is remarkable; they have brought the nearly extinct Rothschild giraffe back from the brink. Learn about the plight of the giraffe and take a walk in the sanctuary.
Fairview coffee estate
Less than an hour’s drive from Nairobi, we were able to deepen our passion for coffee or rather have vivid explanations of the beverage we love so much. The visit to the Fairview coffee estate was really interesting and elucidating.
During the tour we learned about the growing and agriculture of coffee trees and the production of coffee, as well as tasting the different coffee sorts. From now on surely our coffee capsule orders will be more aware and conscious of the great work behind them.
