Kenya is land of boundless savannas, lots of wild animals, and peoples proud of their traditions.
From our first days in kenya we are truly and positively amazed not only by the striking landscapes, but also by the spirit of hospitality and pride of the local people.
Departing near Diani beach, our first destination is the Amboseli National Park (southern Kenya).
We split the route from the coast to the Amboseli over two days, stopping for the night at a campground that most likely hasn’t seen tourists in months. It is quiet, however, and offers us space to camp, fire, and bush toilets (KES 1’000 per adult/per night).

We travel most of the miles on unpaved roads, red-earth roads, long vast expanses that suddenly give us unexpected encounters with giraffes, zebras and baboons
